• »Leaf: Leaves are long, broad, and green in colour with pigmented leaf sheath.
• »Flower: Anthers are purple in colour, pollen is yellow with pigmentation, glume is purple with purple basal ring and silk is purple.
• »Tassel: Tassel is medium with very few branches and is semi-erect in nature.
• »Grain: Grain is medium in size, orange with yellow cap, and nearly flint in texture
• »Special char: Stem, husk and leaf sheath are pigmented.

SHIVA

• » Leaf :Leaves are long & broad, green in colour with rough & thick surface.
• » Flower: Anther, silk and glume are pigmented. Basal ring of glume is non-pigmented.
• » Tassel: Tassel is medium to long with medium branches and is semi-compact. Shank is white, cylindrical in shape and inclined to main stem.
• » Grain: Grain is medium to big in size, orange-yellow in colour, semi- dent, and nearly rectangular in shape..
